Head-up backcrawl

You can move fast and see what is behind you.

The arm enters the water at about 11 o'clock The head stays out of the water See if you can get your shoulders out of the water

Where is the player looking?

Where is the player's head?

Where does the player's hand enter the water?

What kind of kick do you use?

The shoulders rotate, but the head stays still

We use head-up backcrawl to:

  • move fast;
  • See where everyone is behind you;
  • Keep an eye on the ball;
  • be ready to catch a ball coming from behind
