Claire was ready to receive the ball, but Gary's teammate, Sally was very close. As soon as the ball touched Claire's hand she passed it back to Tracy.

Meanwhile, Sam had not stopped. He had not even paused. He was already swimming towards the goal. Claire did not stop either. She did not pause. She swam towards the goal.

The Sharks were not so quick. Gary was watching the ball. Gary wanted the ball. He did not notice Sam go. Sally did not notice Claire go, either.

Tracy was watching everyone carefully. She saw Sam and Claire going for the goal. She saw Gary and Sally moving towards her. Moreover, she saw that Claire was free, so she passed the ball to her. Claire looked at the goalkeeper. Everyone thought she was going to shoot, but she passed to Sam. Sam put the ball in the net. The goolkeeper looked surprised.

The onlookers cheered and clapped. It was 1-1. Just one more goal and the Tigers might win!
